Are you missing "Worms"? I mean the computer game. If so, there has been an open source alternative for a while, "Hedgewars". It is like Worms, but with hedgehogs. And you can create your own levels or contribute otherwise.
But take my advice: If you play against the computer, avoid long distances. There the computer will always be better than you.
