I will never understand the Taiwanese aversion towards raw cookie/cake dough. In Germany, children would even fight over who may have what to lick clean.
But when I offer a bowl or spoon to someone here in Taiwan, the response is usually "Ew! That's raw!" Yes! And it may taste better than the finished thing!
But nobody will try. Well, their fault. More for me...
