Two days of rain can help a lot. I had put up a photo a while ago of the Tiger-and-Dragon Pagodas at the Lotus Pond in this city, where one could see that water was in somehow short supply. Without rain it got worse and about a week ago I took the first photo. The second was taken today, after we had some rain.
Not a lot of change, but it is a start. Just bad that the rain had to wait until we had four days off, it could have rained all it wanted when I have to work...
