No bikes at the station
Sorry for the small photo, I took this from some distance. This shows one of the things that are quite wrong here in Taiwan: Motorised two-wheeled vehicles are second or maybe even third-class vehicles. The red sign without translation means bikes are forbidden on the road in front of the station.
Funnily, this is the backside of Zuoying station, the southern end of our high-speed railway. There is no such restriction at the frontside. And, as so often, people do not really care for this sign, as all the scooters waiting there demonstrated. Still, it is a silly rule, lining up with so many others regarding motorcycles.
