Nothing surprising here, cowards do not want to take responsibility for their actions. What I do not quite understand is the NRA statement:

On the day Mr Trump signed the bill, the National Rifle Association(NRA), America’s most powerful pro-gun pressure group, called it a “new era for law-abiding gun owners”.

Is it a new era because "law-abiding gun owners" have to get more guns to protect themselves from maniacs with guns?

Or are they implying that "law-abiding gun owners" are mentally ill?

Or did they mistaken a word and it should read "a new era for law-ignoring gun owners"? Because if the guy who killed 17 people was abiding by the law, why was he arrested?
