The official celebration of Taiwan's lantern festival is taking place in Jiayi county this year, in front of the county government. Or in other words: here.
It's still early and since the sun came out also rather hot, so only few people are here now, but all PAs are already blasting at full power, so it's way noisier than the photo suggests. The real beauty will start after the sun went down.
