And now the last item on my to-do list for Berlin can be checked: Thuringian roasted sausage (or Thuringian bratwurst).
There are always two or three people near the fountain by the world time clock on Alexanderplatz carrying all the necessary equipment in some kind of vendor's tray. They may not put it down, for that they would need a stall permission.
This does not just taste good, it is also the cheapest snack in the vicinity, costing just 1.50 Euro.
