This is part of the "dark side" of Taiwan.

This is part of the "dark side" of Taiwan. Protagonists of this call it "culture". If my "culture" would consist of waking people at 0230 on a Sunday morning with firecrackers and banging on things to make meaningless noise for half an hour, I would probably cry.

What the video can not show you: It was so loud it was impossible to communicate with someone even by shouting. And this went on on and off for more than half an hour.

I should also mention that not every Taiwanese calls this "culture"...

I rescued Batman. Again.

I rescued Batman. Again.

Is it a sign of approaching spring that there were two visits within one week? Anyway, Batman entered the house again, again through the roof door - and ran into Catwoman again and we all know how that ends.

Bats must be shivering at a pretty high frequency, that fellow was somehow "humming" when I held him. I hope he found his way from the balcony...

Leftover Annihilation Pizzas and Salad

OK, the main "leftover" was cheese (a bag of pizza cheese and two boxes of Feta) and since cheese can't be left over I had to use it somehow: I have now enough pizza and salad for about three days, maybe longer. (Anyone wants a piece of pizza?)
