Yes, that's one of the things really puzzling me - aside from the fact that if 100ml were the maximum "safe" amount, how do you keep four people from pouring their 100ml allowances together on the plane?
Or even better, now you can apparently carry up to one litre with you - but it must all be held in transparent 100ml containers inside a transparent plastic bag. If you carry a 0.6l bottle filled 1/3 with water - no!
Don't even start thinking about it logically, you will go mad...
