For years I didn't dare to make Stollen, until two years ago I just tried and found it wasn't difficult at all.

Have you got your easy recipe to share?

K.B. Burnfield I just looked up an easy one to get the relation of basic ingredients somehow right. I don't use alcohol in cooking or baking, but the raisins are suggested to be put into some spirit you like for an evening.

I adjusted a bit for easy scaling: 1kg flour, 500g butter (or 454g), 200g sugar, 300ml milk and lots of yeast (recipe said 120g, but I didn't use that much). I don't have some of the fancy things usually going in, so I only used raisins, almond slices and marzipan.

Annabelle von Potter it's really easier than I thought, you shouldn't have any trouble.
