Do you remember the articles claiming that electric cars would have an overall bigger carbon footprint than petrol cars? Those articles were basically all based on a FT article which was based on a MIT study.
Well, now the authors of that study wrote an article themselves. And they are pretty upset...
Edit: It seems the article is now locked behind a pay wall, but perhaps other sources will carry this letter in the next days. I hope it was not exclusive...

Boris Lewandowski Sorry, it had been open when I read it, I don't like to link to locked up articles. I'm not sure if their response will enjoy the same spread as the previous article, but perhaps other news outlets will carry this too.
