No police officer should ever lose their job – or have their name dragged through the mud – for choosing to talk to, rather than shoot a fellow citizen
Right. In any regular country. Here however, the guy who talked got fired while the two guys who shot without asking questions kept their jobs. At least a court has now decided that the firing was not justified. It's a sad world in which this counts as a great success that makes it into the media.
