Hmm... When I had several languages installed on my phone (I think pre-assistant), I could actually ask in several languages and in most cases the language was correctly identified. With Assistant, I had the funny phenomenon that I would ask a question in English and sometimes get an answer in German - or in a few cases in Japanese. (But never Chinese, which is weird considering where I live.) I'm curious what happens now...
